ZeroEmission Rome 2009: KERS and World Championship flavours beyond F1

As consolidated tradition, the RaceBioConcept Team (www.racebioconcept.com), in cooperation with the Polo Mobilità Sostenibile della Regione Lazio (www.pomos.it), will take part at Rome ZeroEmission 2009 with its FIA - Alternative Energies official cars.

Among the amazing ultra-capacitors and batteries split-hybrid prototypes - as such as the mythic racing cars fuelled by biodiesel, bioethanol, lpg, methane, hydro-methane and biogas - the PO.MO.S’ researchers and the RaceBioConcept Team’s drivers are going to give to Zero Emission visitors the chance to hand-touch any vehicles chosen by “biodrive” specialists for leading the “EcoRallyes”.

This is the best public occasion to access to the latest news coming from the PO.MO.S research activities, nowadays involved with the RaceBioConcept Team in planning new and innovative car competition models aimed at promoting, experimenting and improving last generation energetic solutions.

Among all cars to be shown, there would be the exhibition of the ultra-capacitors hybrid prototype Ma.Gi.Ca. HU245 (real F1-KERS* precursor!), exclusively accompanied by the previous Bizzarrini Kjara prototype, straight built in cooperation with Eng. Giotto Bizzarrini.

Furthermore the RaceBioConcept Team will exhibit its lpg/bioethanol Toyota Celica ST185 Carlos Sainz, the team’s biofuelling unit Toyota 4Runner 3.0 TD B100, the CNG/biogas/bioethanol EcoRallyRaid Testimonial FJ Cruiser BioDrive ME, as much as the biodiesel Citroen C1 actually driven by the two times FIA-EA vice-world champion Vincenzo Di Bella.
