ZEROEMISSION ROME 2012

The eight edition of ZEROEMISSION ROME, the event dedicated to renewable energies, environmental sustainability, the fight against climate change and emission trading, will take place from 5 to 7 September 2012 at Rome Fair Centre. The event, which was visited by 30,400 professionals last year (+11% compared to 2010), and took up five pavilions, with an exhibition area of 45,000 square metres (+30%), and exhibitors from 26 international countries, aims at increasing its important success even more.
This year, ZEROEMISSION ROME will be made up of EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN (wind energy) and the new SOLAR PV ROME MEDITERRANEAN, which groups together all the solar energy industries - photovoltaics, thermal and concentrating solar energy - in a single fair.
Other successful events of last year that will be back at ZEROEMISSION ROME in 2012 are Compomat Wind (composite materials for the wind energy industry), Electric Cars (sustainable transport and mobility) and MyPartnering, an efficient tool for one-to-one business, which enables to set up meetings during the fair.
The internationalization of the 2011 event was highly appreciated, demonstrated by the 12 international delegations, which are expected to be even more numerous this year.
ZEROEMISSION ROME also includes a qualified programme of conferences, which has always been part of the winning formula of the show. In 2011, there were 65 conference sessions, presented by 486 qualified speakers, with an audience of 3,800 professionals. The “cultural” aspect of the event was also seen at Meet the authors, during which 20 books on energy sustainability were presented with the direct presence of the authors.
