EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN is the leading international event in Italy of the wind energy sector. The 2009 edition, even if held during a period of international crisis, registered the participation of more than 200 companies (+30% compared to 2008) and double the exhibition area, other than a strong increase in the presence of sub-suppliers of the manufacturing industry, as well as service companies and mini wind energy machinery manufacturers.
Now at its 8th edition, EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN will be back in Rome from 7 to 9 September 2010, to be better positioned in the international fair calendar and consolidate its excellent position for number of visitors and exhibitors (40% international), which positions the fair in third place in Europe, fifth in the world, and first for the Mediterranean area.
EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN will, once again in 2010, be one of the most important events of ZEROEMISSION ROME, the important event dedicated to renewable energies in the Mediterranean area, with, in 2009, 25,400 visitors (compared to 18,000 in 2008), 400 exhibitors (300 in 2008), an exhibition area of 30,000 square metres, (+30% compared to the previous edition), 56 conference sessions, with 377 speakers.
