Preparations are in full swing for the tenth edition of EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN, which will take place from 5 to 7 September 2012 at Rome Fair Centre, and which is looking to be even more complete and interesting. At some months before the event, more than 3,500 square metres of exhibition space have already been booked, and many companies have confirmed their presence.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN, many activities will be organized, both inside the pavilions and outside the exhibition area, including a photographic show and an evening event for all exhibitors and visitors to celebrate together.
After the success of the 2011 edition, with 12 international delegations from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Jordan, Greece, Macedonia, Morocco, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Tunisia and Turkey, this year, once again, EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN will focus particularly on the participation of international buyers and delegations (operators, chambers of commerce, embassies, ministries and other institutions, investment agencies). Moreover, the seventh edition of the European seminar “Offshore wind and other marine renewable energies in Mediterranean and European seas” organized by Owemes, will also take place during the fair.
The 2011 edition, with 237 exhibitors (40% international) among which the most important worldwide manufacturers of large-sized turbines such as Acciona, Enercon, Gamesa, GE Wind, Leitwind, Nordex, PowerWind, REpower, Siemens and Vestas, saw a strong increase in the presence of sub-suppliers of the manufacturing industry, service companies and manufacturers of micro- and mini wind energy plants, and the presence of a record number of highly qualified professionals (30,400 compared to 27,200 in 2010, +11%). Feedback from exhibitors confirms this data, who expressed a very positive overall rating (57%) for the event, and reported good visitor numbers at their stands (56%) new contacts (48%), resulting in particular in valid company visibility (46%).
EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN has therefore further consolidated its position as first fair in the Mediterranean area for number of exhibitors and visitors, third in Europe and fifth worldwide. The not to miss appointment to develop new business and gain important market information.
