“Monstrous Giants?”

The photo show, which takes its name from the book called “Monstrous Giants?”, will be on show at the stand of Legambiente from 7 to 9 September at the New Rome Fair Centre.

Presented in collaboration with Anev, the photo show will be an occasion to find out about and discuss the integration of wind energy plants on the Italian territory with Legambiente. According to Legambiente, in fact, conforming to some integration rules, regarding the respect of the landscape and the biodiversity, wind energy is an important part in the fight against climate changes and to reach the aims of 2020.

By means of this idea and the photos of Pablo Balbontin and Luca Marinelli, Legambiente proposes to contribute in the promotion of a discussion able to accept the challenge that these plants set forward in their relationship with the landscape.

Concentrating on wind energy, in fact, is today fundamental if we want to change our idea of energy and finally make it clean, efficient and modern. And, with wind energy, Legambiente is convinced that in Italy, new scenarios of innovation and requalification of the land can appear. Imagining a future in which renewable sources of energy are the driving force of a energy reconversion process able to reduce the use of fossil fuels and stop climate changes.
